I speak Chinese in the library, when some people from China who cannot speak English
but would need to access the Richmond Library English Learning Program on the net, I would ask for permission then guide them through registration and log-on, in normal speaking tune.
What I do not agree with is that people shout out loud to conduct lengthy cellphone conversation. To me, it is nuisance to fellow library user in any language, not racial issue. I spotted East Indian shoppers allowing their kids to open the candy bar and eat in supermarket with no intention of paying, I pity them but it is the right thing to do so? or is it a racial discrimination issue? Please also refer to other threads on Human Right.
