the 2 trees outside my house is growing larger and larger... and apparently the branches are now blocking the side walks...
few years back then my parents asked.. and people said those trees belong to City of Richmond... or at least we cant take it down because of some kind of limitation
i was wondering if we want to trim those trees... can we ask City of Richmond to do it? or do we have to ask our own gardener?
yes, u have to check with the City of Richmond, i have a tree in my front yard that toppled to one side, showing the branches underneath. i looked to the city of richmond for permit, but when they saw where my property is, they said it is on city property and they will take care of it... so, we don't have to do anything. just sit and watch. LOL
On some days you are the bird
On other days you are the statue
Best to inquire at City of Richmond.
I know that in City of Vancouver, you have to apply for cutting trees (I don't mean trimming a little bit but cutting the whole tree down) if it's inside your own property.
If the tree belongs to the city, you can let them know about the tree blocking side walks.
