Yes, the packaged one is 10 cents each including the foil shell,
so there is only 4 cents for the manufacturer, what can you expect
for 4 cents?
The Bisquik impossible pie would form a pseudo "crust" while baking
without any extra work and easy to put together. No, I don't buy
Bisquik, I make my own with Trans-fat free shortening or Virgin Coconut oil.
You can make crustless quiche (Frittata)
or Impossible quiche using Bisquik, just put custard in blender then pour over
meat, veggie or seafood then bake, put together in few minutes

Then that's a different kind of quiche already la...
We are talking about crust and you suggest crustless... ?!!?!
I followed their instruction: 3 eggs, 1.5 cup of whole cream (I used milk instead).
It says to fry the bacon. I used lean read-made bacon so minimal grease. For the tuna, I just used it for a variety.
With all the fillings I used, I had enough to fill 26 tarts. So if you plan to use up all of 18 in a box and all the fillings like I used, I'd suggest you to use 1/2 of what I used for eggs and cream/milk.
If you have to make your own crusts, then it is not a "Lazy Quiches" la
Just some idea jar mah
