I hope this time I'm really going with my group~

Has anyone tried it before?

Prelude

Yes. casual french bistro.
I like it, the food is not expensive.  Spent around $40 each person on food.

good review from other food review pages as well.
they have a set menu... what I don't understand is... we have to tell them what we're order ahead of time?
If i can find answer here I rather not call them~  talk too fast and the bkg is so noisy.

unfortunately i won't be going there this time la.
the restaurant gives us a choice of 2 course menu or 3 course
my group rather eat something else. .

too bad. I went twice and really enjoy their food and service.
Once with my sister for the regular menu and another time (because of a larger group and the restaurant was almost fully booked) with their 3 courses set menu.
We didn't have to tell them ahead of time what we wanted from the set menu.
They are usually busy and I prefer to go there in a smaller group like 2 or 4 ppl. It's a bit too loud to chat with a large group there. (unless you got a table at the cafe side but then it's not the same without the bistro style buzz)

I had their duck confit and my sister ordered their special that day. I think it was quail.
Both were pretty good. We also got side order of fries ^_^
We got some appies to shared but we forgot what it was.. (didn't take picture cos the room was too dim)
Read some food blogs or reviews online. There are tones that reviewed Les Faux Bourgeois and have pictures. I usually judge by the pictures

btw our server was lovely. LOL

I usually need to go to eat wonton noodles after having french cuisines,
as the portions are too sma ...

This is french bistro style not the fine dine french.
typical dishes are like steak and fries or steam mussels and fries or duck confit and potato.
