Tochigi prefectural police said Monday they have arrested a 28-year-old man for allegedly suffocating his 9-month-old son in his Utsunomiya apartment on March 15.

According to Sankei Shimbun, the man has been identified as Ryota Harada, a 28-year-old civil servant. He was arrested in Chiba City where he now lives. Harada was quoted by police as saying that he became enraged because the baby wouldn’t stop crying, Sankei reported.

Harada allegedly suffocated the boy with a blanket at around 6 a.m. on March 15 and dialed the police emergency number immediately afterward. The boy’s body showed no immediate signs of abuse, police said. They gave no explanation as to why it took so long to press charges, Sankei reported.

    In Western society, the needy and the poor get helped upon my neighbors and friends a whole lot more. I am speaking in regard to the general population as a whole, the western society have a lot more rights, freedom and equality. If you guys would like to learn the failure of American institution, The Wire would be a good TV series to watch. It documents how the drug trade and the war of drugs put the dent on police department and society as whole.

It is your failure to acknowledge the problems of Chinese society that pisses me off the most, wealth accumulation is not the only goal for Chinese society, we are not perfect by any means, we have long ways to go to again be marveled at like the Roman Empire, Tang Dynasty or British colonialism.

What you said above is more applicable to the Japanese and the western countries.
It is the Japanese and Koreans that copied from Chinese culture.

Greed, fraud and ponzi schemes are rampant in New York's Wall Street and the western financial system is full of examples of insider trading.

The huge supply of labour in India is leading to corruption.

The lack of demand in Canada, US and Europe is leading to high unemployment rate and recession.

Lots to learn from in China, especially human character. Lack of integrity, dishonest, greed, endless imitation of other cultures, thievery, fraud. They all go insync with economic theory such as supply and demand. In China there is a huge supply of labour, lack of demand, so the population have to resort into hustling and fraud, things of that nature.
