They're going to pay for all the expenses, I don't see why the city has a reason to refuse them. ;P

Yea, probably bumped the price up starting from $292,000 to $299,800, something like that, kakaka....

I wish so too! But I guess the city might think a skytrain/canada line station doesn't fit well to the neighborhood thou. :P

In the article, they say they are going to build 6500 units, that is a lot of units.

Even in Hong Kong, with 8 units per floor, ~40 floors per building, total ~320 units per building.
Are they going to build 20 such buildings?

The 6,500 units count is about the whole community that will use this station, not just this project.  Station's construction cost is $2.5M, and downstream cost per unit is $8K. The project is ~312 units.

Capstan Way is close to the airport, and in Richmond (earthquake Jello zone).  There is no way they would build 40 floor building.

now a day there mostly 16 units per floor now.
