Want to ask some experienced landlords here...

Is monthly better or fixed term better?

My agreement with my tenants will be due in September, so far they have been pretty good and take care of my unit like their own home.  When we first initated our contract last year, they done inspection report, so everything are pretty formal.

now that one year is almost up, should i renew the contract formally, or should I just advise them it will be on monthly basis..

I'm a very easy going landlord but there are too many scary tenants stories out there... so just want to listen to some experienced landlord advises ...

You may want to read up on the regulations.  BC laws protect the tenants, not the landlord.  It is not a fair game.
