I hope there won't be an election again.... waste so much money already espcially during this economic crisis.

Tory economic's update doesnt really address what is urgent. Unless our economic model is different from the rest of the world, i dont see why we need to cut the spending and peg the transfer payments with GDP. Plus selling crown corps and assets at a time like this is not going to fetch good price. When the economy turns good in the future, we will pay a premium if we want to buyback or we just cant afford.

I dont see the pt of removing the rights for job action too. Whether you give CS a decent raise is one thing, but removing the rights for job action is another. Also, when they go on strike, they dont get paid.

It seems to to be a rather stupid political move, but what is underlying??? Their think tank must have thought about that before..  

When the govt think like this, they are sending a strong signal to the public that tough time is ahead, i think the consumer confidence is going down even more. People are not going to spend, we are adding fuel to the recession. At time like this, it is not about balancing the budget anymore....Thanks Stevie.
