I am going here for business purpose for about 2 weeks. During the afternoon I might have time to go shopping ^^. I heard people say that most of the things in Shanghai are very expensive. Just wondering what other places I can go for shopping other than the malls only sell brand names. Anyone know?
Along 南京東路 are the more traditional stores like Wing On department store, along 南京西路 are the luxury brand malls, along 淮海路 are the regular price malls. You can go to some of the side streets near 淮海路 for cheaper stores.
You can go to major malls like 正大廣場 at 陸家嘴 in Pudong, 來福士廣場 near a place called 人民廣場, a big mall called 港匯廣場 at 徐家匯. These malls are not super expensive. You can just do a search at wikipedia for more information.
