I am using Telus too. About a week ago, my Internet was dropped to 30K from 300K. I thought it was caused by Telus. Then after I reset all my devices - like router, DSL modem and my machines, the Internet speed was back to normal.
it's been up and down....sometimes it's back to normal sometimes it's turtle....
I already reset everything, unplugged everything, plugged again....
and I'm in east vancouver area.....
problem still unsolved, and from my experience whenever you call Telus they will tell you the same story, which answers NOTHING...these guys are just bs and brushing you off...tried too many times...
Yes, you are right. I experience the same problem last night and the download rate is less then 30K. It seems something wrong with Telus network.
Nothing we can do so far.
i live in east van too, i don't notice any difference of my internet speed. but when i checked on telus website last time. i found that they changed the speed range of "high speed" internet from 2.0-6.0Mbps to 1.5-6.0 Mbps, not sure why, but maybe that's the way to push people to take the 'high speed turbo"
