don't understand why my friends always drive all the way to portland for shopping? 2 groups of people will go there tomorrow..
who know what kind of shop do they have ?

It is cheap to start with .. and NO tax ..

Say going to seattle, everything is way cheaper then Canada to start with ..  but ~ 9% tax ..  

Go to portland .. save the tax as well ..

You have to justify the cost/time to go to Portland verses the amount that you are buying. I rather take the new Amtrak there.
