How do you live the Vancouver way in HK? live, How, Vancouver

Well obviously the house will be quite a bit smaller, and noisier, and dirtier/stinkier, but other than that...

is it even possible? Maybe for those who moved back to HK for an extended period of time, what can you do to maintain the Vancouver lifestyle?

I am living in Van, and I can't even stand for the noise from the construction site outside.  I can't imagine how I can survive in HK anymore..

What is exactly... "Vancouver lifestyle"?

Something like...
Everyday 9-5 working hour Monday to Friday, and have your own personal time on the weekends.
Own a car...
Live in a relatively bigger place...
Enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, snowboarding/skiing?

It's a matter of "get used to it"...
When you close the window...open air con... you won't hear those "noise"...

Working in office.  Already close all windows, and turn on the radio loud.

The noise outside still come in..  it's so annoying..  

Sigh..

Maybe I should clarify, the goal is not how to maintain the vancouver lifestyle, but maybe what can one do specifically to ease the transition period, and maybe eventually get used to the HK lifestyle?

and do you you resist transforming into one of them (native HK ppl)?  If you do, why? and how?

I think these are interesting questions to ask.  Love to listen to your comments, pls join in.
