Hello, this is calling from (地址) and our account number is (消音). We are currently subscribed to Shaw's Hi speed cable program, where service should provide up to 60mbps. But, we firmly believe that the service being provided has not met a fraction of what has been promised. For example, loading shaw.ca took up to 34 seconds. We DO have a router, but the page was being loaded while we have the cable connected from the modem directly to our computer. We would like to see if there is anything that you can do to solve this problem. Thanks.
1) you already try disconnect the router and connect to ONE computer directly and
2) you are not downloading anything.
3) You do not really care it is fine by your side; the problem is you Internet has been super slow for couple of days already. You did not call them when it happened and you waited to see if it would recover but IT DIDNOT.
install it on one of your slow computer and perform a full scan. if it's clean, connect this computer using an ethernet cable directly to the network port on the shaw cable modem (this would bypass your router/wireless router and the 2 other computers).
ALSO, MAKE SURE YOUR COMPUTER HAS ALL THE SECURITY UPDATE!
yeah..it really depends on whether your area has a lot of ppl using shaw..if it does..then you are screwed....maybe your tenant downstairs is sdownloading a lot of crap everyday..haha
you can also do an online bandwidth test to give them the approximate figure that you are experiencing too and also mention u already tried all the methods available to resolve the problem on your side
