We recently treated one of our friends in a chain restaurant for birthday. For some reason, one dish seemed to be weird. Our friend said that it tasted unlike normal, therefore, she told our server about it. Just a short while later, the server came back with the same dish, and said it's 100% okay. However, our friend didn't finish it all, and she eventually asked for a to-go.

Long story short, our friend who finished half of that dish is like having diarrhea since then, or till now whatever. She already went to physician to check her health. And she now wants to know if there is any facility which can analysis that plate of food if it's poisoned, or batteria affected.

there are a few labs out there that do food analysis
I worked at one before, if you want the contact number just let me know I can PM it to you
I don't exactly know the pricing cuz I was in the lab part
but it depends on how many tests your frd wants to do on the food
so at least few hundred dollars if you really want to do it......
or the easier way, just black list the restaurant then tell everyone, and don't go back again

is it a Japanese restaurant? If it is, it's very slim chance you can sue them successfully as you have asked for a to-go, which means food has been kept in room temperature for at least a few hours (your dinner time + travel time, etc.), they will not admit it's their fault even you might found bateria in your food wor....
