劉曉波獲諾貝爾和平獎 挪威

中國被囚異見人士劉曉波獲選為今年諾貝爾和平獎得主，因他長期在中國以和平方式爭取人權。

挪威諾貝爾獎委員會表示，劉曉波長期以非武力方式，在中國爭取基本人權，所以頒發和平獎給他。而諾貝爾委員會一直相信，人權與和平是有密切關係的。

頒獎儀式將於12月10日，在挪威的奧斯陸舉行，劉曉波將獲150萬美元的獎金。

58歲劉曉波是因為發起和散播名為「08憲章」的文件而入獄，其中內容主張大刀闊斧推動政治改革，包括放寬集會自由、表達自由與宗教自由。他在2008年12月8日被捕，次年被法院以煽動顛覆國家政權罪名，判囚11年。

中國正尋求在國際事務上扮演更重大角色，和平獎若頒給中國異見人士，勢必引起北京    不滿，因為這將使世界聚焦在這個亞洲經濟強國的人權問題。內地入門網站近日紛紛抽起諾貝爾獎的專題報道。

Kudos to Liu Xiaobo. And now let's see how PRC responds. And given what Best Actor Jiabao has recently said on CNN, I am also interested in how he might respond as well.

The smartest way PRC could respond to this is to say or do absolutely nothing. They would actually infuriate the fewest number of people if they just decline to comment on anything regarding Liu and the Nobel prize. But given the threats that they have thrown around when Liu was nominated, I certainly wouldn't expect them to stay quiet.

And the 內地入門網站近日紛紛抽起諾貝爾獎的專題報道 doesn't surprise me at all.

內地在囚異見人士劉曉波，以大熱姿態，獲頒今屆諾貝爾和平獎。遴選委員會表揚劉曉波，為中國基本的人權，作長期和非暴力的鬥爭。在北京，外交部以強硬措辭，批評諾貝爾獎遴選委員會的決定，發言人馬朝旭說，劉曉波是罪犯，他的所作所為與諾貝爾獎的宗旨，背道而馳，將和平獎頒給他，是對和平獎的褻瀆，亦會損害中國與挪威的關係。

外電引述挪威外交部發言人指，中國外交部在得知劉曉波獲頒和平獎後，傳召挪威駐華大使抗議及表達不滿。挪威官員重申，遴選委員會是獨立機構，要繼續同中國保持良好關係。
