洪患 鯊襲 搶掠 布里斯班變水中鬼城
澳洲第三大城巿布里斯班飽受洪水蹂躪，昨日洪峰過去，這座城巿的劫後一面赤裸的暴露人前。放眼所見滿目瘡痍，十萬民居斷電斷水，污水四處充斥，埋藏疾病危機；盛傳有人「趁水打劫」，爆發搶掠潮；又驚傳洪水中有鯊魚游弋。昆士蘭省省長布萊形容現時的布里斯班有如戰場，猶幸洪峰水位比預期低，她不禁說：「大自然總算手下留情。」
布萊昨指，昆省水災至今已造成全省四分三地方被淹。布里斯班雖是昆省首府，但從高空看來，這座大城巿卻半淹在黃黃的洪水中。當局指多達三萬間民房及五千間商舖在洪水中被水浸或沒頂，市中心恍如「水中鬼城」。

至今15死61失蹤
過去三天洪災已造成十五人死亡、六十一人失蹤。昨日一名二十四歲男子溺斃，更是布里斯班首名洪災罹難者。

在布里斯班巿郊的伊普斯威奇，有居民指昨晨看到疑似鯊魚的物體在商場附近的水裏出現，當局相信可能是公牛鯊。有海洋生物專家指這並非不可能，因雌性的公牛鯊會在夏天時游進布里斯班河產卵。

有消息指布里斯班市郊出現趁水搶掠潮。有居民稱看見搶掠者將船隻縛在房屋旁，從屋頂入內洗劫。有議員指摘搶掠者是「人渣」，應被判監，又指這情況在布巿的一九七四年大洪災時也曾發生。

不少居民更因擔心家園遭洗劫而拒絕疏散。當局昨日則宣布聯同其他省份成立二百人特別小組，在災區巡邏，嚴防盜賊。

水溢出恐爆疫
有醫療官員則指，洪水造成布巿污水溢出，動物屍體及廢物亦隨洪水四處漂浮，憂慮會導致疾病爆發。洪水也威脅到當地人食水供應。布萊指洛克爾谷有多個水壩受洪水污染，居民的食水受威脅，稍後將安排水車供水。

由於昆省爆發搶購糧食潮，不少店舖的貨架已空空如也，更有超級市場關閉十多間分店。當地蔬果售價預料會急升兩倍。當地的電訊網絡亦被洪水嚴重破壞，數以萬計居民因而與外界失去聯絡。
洪峰已在當地時間昨日清晨五時十五分通過布巿，布里斯班河的水位錄得四點四六米高，比原先估計的低一米，亦比七四年大洪災水位低。

Australia is so messy when performing the rescue efforts after the flooding. This reflects the backwardness and the disorganization of Australia.
Flooding control is lacking in Brisbane, just like in New Orleans.
Looting is starting to happen.
