Quitting in two hours..........ai.........

Checking the clock every hour.
Two more hours, it's time to say goodbye.
It takes so much energy to come to this end.
I knew she wasn't happy about me this morning but as always, no day is a good day.

I know quitting this job sound insane to everybody but I had enough.
There is no point staying in a company when you lost all the faith and passion.

It's ironic, my so called "future" office is renovating right next to me everyday and I'm courting the days.
Isn't it funny? By the time I'm done with my two weeks notice, my office should be done too.

It's extremely tough to hang in the resign letter. If it's all about me only, it's fine but there are too many uncertainty.
Yet, I still have to breathe hard and walk into her office in two hours. To be exact, 2.5hr.

Two years has gone, it's time to move on. Even if it's risky and  uncertain. I gain more strength to face the future after what had happened these years. I should not live under a shelter forever. It's time for me to step out this door and find a new path, rather it's bad or good decision. I will be responsible for all the consequences. It's my life after all.

good luck then...

You never know if you don't try.
May be better, may be worse, but at least you know you are not satisfied at the moment and I would say it is very important.
You are still young la.  If the next one is no good, just keep looking lor.

I am sure you will find another job soon.

I had my old job for nearly 3-4 years.  In the begining it was very promising and they even had the bright future but I quit the job after 3-4 years of consistent disappointment.

I am quite happy with my current job and I am glad I guitted that job.

Good luck to you.  If you need any help finding a new job, people here will gladly to help you.

Sazabi,

one curious question want to ask you since I think you are in management, right?
How do you see this situation? An international company found my C/V on internet and they are desperately need to look for 4 ppl for each office.
The HR manager still insist to contact me after I ignore him the first time (both e-mail and phone) because he is from montreal. Then, after I answer his call the second time, he actually flied to vancouver to interview me from Montreal. Then, the first interview, he highly recommended me to the office manager to see me for second round.

After the second round, they said their financial manager would do an phone interview with me since he is in Montreal (which is the final stage as far as I understand). Then, I was on the phone for 30 minute with their senior vice president.

Here is what the vice president said which confuse me

"Welcome on board" (That mean hired me right???)

"I will see you in the Vancouver office if we are both still interest in each other"

"Do you have baby? Because with the new SAP system, I'm sure you might need to stay behind to do follow up at the beginning"

"how soon can you leave your current job? Because I want you to go to the information session training in US on March 10, 2008 but seems like you can't make it because of the two weeks notice. But don't worry, you won't miss anything if you fly to Montreal in May for the 3 weeks training"

"I think you would fit the position well. I will ask our HR to contact you on my way out"

Then, 1.5 week, no response. Well, they returned my call on Monday said that the HR was away on Thursday and Friday that's why he couldn't return my call.
Then, the HR said it looks like they want to do one more interview with me. Either I fly over to Montreal to see them or they send someone to Vancouver to meet with me. It's depends on my status. At this stage, it is still very promising.

WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON with them??
anyone can tell me? Today is Wed, and they still haven't send me anything that they want to arrange for the last interview.

Are they BSing me? Is it normal for a large company like that?

If I were you I wouldn't resign unless I have the job offer signed.

Lots of HR ppl know how to keep people "warm" while they are still choosing candidates.
