Dermal Laser has a lot of boosting/awards from "readers" or maybe they "paid" their way to get the awards.  Haha.  And there are other plenty of places that does it... just be sure to do a lot of research.  Opt out other possibilities, etc.

其實係我bf要做,佢想remove his beard...因為毛髮太黑..點shave都唔clean..and gives him rashes which bother him alot...之前去過dermal laser做過一次, my bf 再三asked them 做完treatment之後how will he looks... since he has to work and doesn't want to look bad in front of others..they explained to us after the treatment只會有小小紅,就好像做完exercises 一樣,一兩日就會好..but they said it won't affect your daily life(of course your look)..you can do anything after 24hours...但唔知乜reason...第二日,個Ｄarea好紅,又有wounds plus 出現好多白色泡泡, he was so scared and went to see a doctor..doctor told him it was bateria infection and gave him antibiotics..and he took it for a week...佢之前都有返dermal laser問..but they said it was normal..even after the doctor visit...he told them what the doctor said..and they still said the doctor was wrong,...my bf bought a 6 times package and wanted a refund, but they didn't give it to him..after talking to the manager they finally gave some money back, but they charged around $200 for the first treatment plus the consultation fee(which supposed to be free). after a few weeks, he finally recovered...well, the irony was, it actually works..and reduces some of the hair...but the price was a few weeks of pain and medication..so, we are looking for other places to do it..thinking of richmond laser skin care..but don't know if they are good or not???
PS: I don't want to say dermal laser is a bad company, this might just be an individual case(maybe the machine was dirty??) and the fact that it works

Aiya.  Sorry to hear that!

I've always planned to go on laser hair removal.  But my friend told me that she watched on TV and the topic was about laser hair removal.  This girl went for lip hair removal and got scarred.  She warned me about that and I got scared.  So, I just wax and tweeze for maintenance.  However, I do get those days when I want to go for laser hair removal.  But now that you've told me what happened, I can finally take it off of my mind!

Have you ever heard of No!No! Hair Removal?  It's now sold on Theshoppingchannel (Chanel 17).  But it is supposed to be exclusively sold at Sephora.com (it's a USA Cosmetic chain store, it has stores in Canada too but not in Vancouver.)  No!No! is a "at home treatment" but it takes time (depends on the person).  So if its hygienic reasons that your BF is experiencing, I think it is better if he buys it and uses it (hence, it would be solely him using it so he won't have to worry about it).  So, I think the difference is that the No!No! obviously takes longer and time and patience whereas the Laser Hair Removal places are faster and costs more.  Definitely look it up for reviews.  I was reading this thread about this lady using it (she updates it often) But if you do choose to purchase No!No!  I think you should wait longer because I think they are developing a better one.

So, now that I know... I will definately wait for the newer version of No!No!.  

Maybe you should get the newspaper like Georgia Straight.. I remember reading/seeing some adds about Laser Hair Removel on there.  Let me know if you do find a better place!!

i read about no!no! in shopping channel and their own site..but don't think they provided much info...it also said no!no! is not recommended for use on the face...so i guess only for body hair..but i am interested for myself though...do u know when the new one going to come out?? if it really works, i think i want one too ^^

actually i went and asked, i went to 仙x亞,my  bf asked for his facial hair removal, their price was crazy...the whole package for 6-7treatments cost like $8000-$10,000cnd...compared to dermal laser or richmond laser they only charge 6 treatments for around $1200
