i think it's a good time to try new (not ones you haven't been to), restaurants.
I remember years back Figmint did pretty well IMO during DOV, just because it was so new. New restaurants usually put more effort on DOV to establish their name. When I mean new I mean opened for less than 1 year, if not less than half a year.
You can also try the more expensive restaurant if you think you won't ever dish out regular price to go to them. I am specifically pointing at restaurants where their average entree price exceeds the DOV price.
Places to avoid are restaurants where their regular entree price is under their DOV meal price. Usually for those ones you are getting a big discount, such that it won't be worth the squeeze and the degrade in quality of food and services. |
