I have also had lots of bad experience with many vets. But with my current dog and rabbit I have been bringing them to the West Boulevard Vet Clinic http://wbvc.bc.ca/ and I have been very happy with them.
They don't speak chinese, all Caucasian people but all the staff there are very friendly and you can feel that ALL of them truely love what they are doing and love animals and that energy is something I haven't seen at any other vet so far. They are definitely more expensive than those East Indian vets, but I don't trust those places anymore. Every time I return to WBVC the vet patiently does a routine check of problems my dog has had in the past. And I don't go there that often but they remember all the animals that go through their clinic.
