[中餐館] Hakkasan 客家人

Has anyone been in this restaurant?  It just opened on December 18, 2007.  The location is bit weird, on No. 5 and River road.

Looks classy. I thought Hakkas are simple people, so why are their food so expensive?

Hmm.... interesting. By looking at the menu, not much true 客家 dishes wor. If they plan to make fusion, no need to emphasize 客家人 la. Prices are within to above average, but still in acceptable range (well, depends on the size of portion). However, I'm not interested in trying it lor.

仲有, 客家人係有的鄉土情懷﹐佢做mud搞到人地食法國大餐o甘
遲的大家去有英國皇宮decoration o既餐廳打冷啦

你地誤會喇...

其實間野叫「客家人」因為係「客家人」煮既................港式Fushion餐廳

咖喱魚蛋要$5一碟呢... 唔知有無30粒呢?

不過裝修好靚, 都可以去試下既。

This is high-end Hong Kong food. So they should charge high prices. If the Japanese can charge high prices for raw beef, why can't we do the same for high-end food?
