我記得我間佛教中學(東蓮覺苑)入面一D都唔金碧輝煌....係一間好樸素但莊嚴的地方。每格個禮拜(上堂時間)都要去東蓮覺苑跪係到唸佛經 (約1-2小時)...個D跪係上面既黃色墊(futons?)..已經非常破爛...用黎唸的佛經已經 ...

The one in Vancouver is very well maintain.
I did 2 Foodsafe  Training classes for the si-fus there.
Very young nuns from China, they all changed their last names to  SHI釋

I have been to all the Buddhist temples in that area for business,
they are all in my Electoral District for Federal Election.
I think    朱江  is affiliated with   靈巖山, although he is from Hong Kong, I saw him there

觀音寺Steveston我覺得。。。有點"商業化"，又多人～

雖然係咁，不過我每次去拜，都會去both 觀音寺 ＆ 靈巖山寺.
每次去，我都有添香油。

B仔, 天主教教徒念玫瑰經既時候都會拎住一串珠練. 我用開果一條d 珠珠係用木or塑膠造的.
至於戴o係身上既十字架, 係金, 我咁應該唔會有人戴舊木上頸, 會吸汗的... 不過, 塑膠既十字架吊飾我就見過~

首先你要知咩叫功德。
持戒can earn 功德﹐ 因為持戒本身就是(低階)修行。

好多人以為做善事就有功德﹐其實這只是其中一種方法。
修行﹐係要修內在﹐行善捐錢等等都歸類為布施﹐亦算是修行之一﹐修既係慈悲心也。
