Besides 靈巖山寺. I also go to 佛光山 above the T&T at Radisson.

I went to Christian primary and secondary schools but never 領會 and believe in Christianity.  I started going to the buddhist temples 4 years ago and I found peace and it helped me a lot.   Buddhism respects all religions.  In fact, 佛光山 has a photo posted of 星雲法師 and the Pope shaking hands.  To me, that meant something.

四大 is not喜怒哀樂, which is 地、水、火、風, which is related to 五蘊
空 is not empty, which is related to 色
so 四大楷空 is not directly related to 平安喜樂

richmond 觀音寺 is run like a company, they hire 法師 from taiwan.
anyone go to the one on 49th ave?
if you want to learn more, you can go to the one on 11th ave, just east of main.  they gave out free books in chinese and english.

持戒can earn 功德﹐ 因為持戒本身就是(低階)修行。

好多人以為做善事就有功德﹐其實這只是其中一種方法。
修行﹐係要修內在﹐行善捐錢等等都歸類為布施﹐亦算是修行之一﹐修既係慈悲心也。 ...

What is 善事 if there is no moral standard as you mentioned before?

Is killing people a kind of 善事, 修行?  Because those who got killed don't need to suffer in this world.

What is 慈悲 when there is no right or wrong?

According to my limited knowledge, those who got killed may not suffer in this world but still will suffer in other world. There are 6 道 in Buddhism:
據佛經《觀佛三昧經》載：「輪迴六趣，如旋火輪。」一切眾生從無始以來，即已在六道中輪迴不息。若造善業終得樂報，如天、人二道；若造惡業終得苦報，如畜生、餓鬼、地獄。

六道可分為三善道和三惡道。三善道為天、人、阿修羅； 三惡道為畜生、餓鬼、地獄。但阿修羅雖為善道，因德不及天，故曰非天；以其苦道，尚甚於人，故有時被列入三惡道中，合稱為四惡道。

佛教相信，任何人若遵守五戒，可得六根整然人身。若在五戒上，再加行十善，即可生到天界。

修行o羅﹐修行係提升自身既"能力"﹐係無是非對錯既﹐用不著道德標準。
持戒可以算係修行既一種。

As soli said, 係無是非對錯既﹐用不著道德標準。  So, what is 善? What is 惡?  Who can decide the lives in this world (or universe) 輪迴 to any 六道?

i believe in 輪迴 and 因果

我記得以前睇過佛教因果的書.....篇野好長, 大概有幾句的意思係:

" 點解有些人今世有車渣 / 坐? 因為前世經常修橋起路 "
" 點解有些人今世長得貌若天仙? 因為前世曾經向佛獻花"
" 點解有些人今世無夫無母? 因為前世不孝"

因此有些人的幸運於不幸也可能是前世的因所以才有今世的果
