Those top employers are half-government agencies.  Phone, gas, bc hydro and some small real estate developers?  Why don't you say branches of TD, bank of montreal, cibc, royal bank?

What's wrong with government agencies or crown corporations? They have financial roles, thus proving my point.

And for your information, there are other wealth management, financial advisory, insurance, investment and insolvency firms in Vancouver other than banks and credit unions.

唔係認真﹐係要正確。

時關好多人成日都話"Vancouver好難揾工啵﹗"呢句說話聽左20年(打從有香港移民潮開始)。當然﹐好多當年新移民40幾歲又無呢度工作經驗﹐英文未必好得﹐又做唔翻老本行﹐就返香港邊做太空人邊講"加拿大好難揾工架﹗"

估唔到﹐今時今日﹐依然有人覺得年薪8萬﹐10萬CAD係好稀奇嘅事。有人話做呢D工或識得人做呢D工就一定係講大話。

呢D講法一個講唔覺唔覺﹐兩個三個聽左當真又傳開去﹐永遠年青一代就俾籍口自己"係啦﹐Vancouver都係好難揾到有前途嘅工架啦﹐個個都係咁講。"

agree with what 大C姐  is saying.  People should try to improve themselves to earn more money instead of complain and put the fault on others.  You choose to live this way then why complain?

I think we all know there are way more POOR people in LA and NY  then WHOLE Canada.

Anyway, it is fun to see stupid pointless thing with ZERO support ..
