    To be honest, I don't think Vancouver house price is low. I agree it's high. But is it so high to a point that one can never buy a place, I doubt it.

Do you even know how much CHMC is insuring?  Who is paying for those HUGE debt if there is really a bubble and go busted?  How many people is living on pay cheque to pay cheque?

Statistic is always good as a reference. To considering buying property or not always base on your own ability and need la. One make $30K and one make $800K is different la.

唉﹐其實都係果句﹐有幾大個頭就帶幾大頂帽。

D樓有幾貴其實上MLS一目了然﹐豐儉尤人。確實平均可能係貴﹐但係一般人係咪買樓無望﹐我覺得絕對無呢件事囉﹗你自己一個人儲到幾萬蚊首期﹐都可以上到車啦。Surrey, Poco, Pitt Meadows都仲有好多平嘅condo/townhouse。若然過幾年升左可以換大D/搬近D﹐唔升可以唔賣﹐一日唔賣自住都唔算蝕。但係如果嫌三嫌四的話﹐係你唔想買﹐而唔係買唔起﹗

萬事起頭難﹐除非好有錢唔係點解一買要買$700﹐000嘅樓? 好多人成日呻買唔起樓﹐其實要求太高﹗大學畢業一出黎唔會即刻做到manager囉。

300sqf is really small for one person. I lived in Macau last year and rented a similar-sized flat. It was SMALL!!
I really don't know how people live in the older 公屋 in Hong Kong.

I lived in a 300 sq ft flat in Hong kong for 18 years,  family of six.
40 flats on one storey with no elevator. Rent HK$40 a month in 1960.
