Maybe I should clarify, the goal is not how to maintain the vancouver lifestyle, but maybe what can one do specifically to ease the transition period, and maybe eventually get used to the HK lifestyle ...

It's like marriage.
I won't marry whoever a gal first, and then see if I will love her after married. But I will make sure I love the gal, and then marry her.
If I know I don't "love" HK (or whichever a place), I won't go there and try if I would love it later on. I don't have much time to waste like that.

If this is not the most important issue, you should have the more important issue overwhelmed it la, and this would become less concern.

so hard to make the decision ar... would people be easily to give up a decent job and start to look for another job in HK? I think it would be easier if I am under 25 yrs old now...
