The Super Trio Game Show was a Hong Kong variety show produced by Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB). The series debuted in 1995, and remained in production for 10 years due to its popularity. The show was hosted by Eric Tsang and his two assistants, such as Jerry Lamb and Chin Kar Lok. The show ended its run with the airing of the final episode on July 16, 2005. It has been announced that the Super Trio will return with new hosts in 2008. Each episode feature several popular Asian celebrities as guest stars. Sometimes Miss Hong Kong pageants and other international pageants are invited. They participate in different party games devised by the producers, usually all of these are hilarious. At the end of each round, attractive prizes would be awarded to the winners. Audiences are often included as part of the show. Eric Tsang Chi-wai is a prolific Hong Kong actor, film director, film producer and television host best known for hosting the Super Trio Game Show on TVB over the course of 10 years. Due to his popularity, he is often the master of ceremony in most events organized by TVB, and is known by many as simply "the Prize Master".
