This is their own style. It is modern and efficient design. They invented the Chinese language, so they can they write them as they wish.
In fact, they installed screen doors before those in Hong Kong. They put guiding signs on the floor before those in Hong Kong.
They put signages and route directions above the screen doors before those in Hong Kong.
