Just got my bike, been riding everyday for commute.
building the Chicken Coop with my brother this weekend

Plan on turning front yard lawn in to a vegetable garden in the next couple years.

Erased my urge to buy a new car, my vision is to phase out my personal use of automobile in the next five years. If I cannot, buy a hybrid. I personally think each family should be limited to one car.

There are many Community-support Agriculture groups out there, they help fund turning back and front yard lawn into a vegetable garden.

Am I the only green LYK here? saving humanity is never too late, it can be fun too. My experience biking for commute is so different than through automobile. Yes, its more time consuming, but its also good exercise, can smell the streets and the sweet vancouver air. Cruise around the neighborhood, check out nice houses.  Recently I saw my Chinese Neigbor install solar panels on the roof of his house, not really cost efficient for Vancouver, but seems like the right thing to do.

Been busy with other things lately, planning to remove the grass in the front lawn, no more English grass and lawn mowing, gonna change it in to vegetable farm! Decided not to buy any chicken yet, its might be too cold of a winter, don't want to set up a heater. But the chicken coop is built, will post pics later.

That's cool!
I finally applied for bus pass and will get it in Jan. So busing to and from work unless I have to carry some heavy load back home.
