Don't find their price ( on their web site ) too attractive.
You can find some of their sale items cheaper from Best Buy or NCIX.

They say in their ad that they will price match competitors and beat the price by 5%. If they stick to their promise (and not play tricks) it is good news to computer/electronic users in Vancouver.

I think they are Calgary based .. not 100% sure.

My wife loves to shop there, (and NCIX too) but she said NCIX has better price in general ..  ( I have no clue about computer stuff .. my woman in charge!! )

Memory Express was in the market for the longest time...

They were used to be 2 Viet guys driving around town wholesaling CPU and RAM, that's why they were called Memory Express because they deliver quickly.

It certainly DOES NOT beat NCIX as the owners are "big water pipe", they have lots to burn before they close down.

Bear in mind that they sell TVs and other stuff as well as components, so they are more of a problem to Futureshop/BestBuy.

The common components are coming from the same suppliers, and I am not sure how ME can compete solely on prices.

i was there yesterday...  looks ok inside.. they said they will pm any store and extra 5%.. not the difference but actually 5% off the item.. not sure if it's true..

usually when you do pm, they will phone the competitor and check if the item is available in the competitor store.  Will this new store have the same policy?

I don't like to drive on No.3 Road, especially that location...
Unless they are 10% cheaper, for the same item I will try buying from NCIX first...
