Yes shotguns are difficult to use. The reason for the old faithful is to make u getting the destroyer rifle earlier and easier. U may then opt for the warbringer or any spread gun once u hit the 10k mark
I m on lvl 39 now and is about to get the ion rifle. Atlas will be next
Peter: the game is free and u may opt to purchase some in game weapons and armor upgrades with real money. On the other hand I m sticking to the free upgrades for now
The game is probably too graphics/CPU intensive for anything but the iPhone4 and iPad. In the last few waves, both frame rates and game speed dropped big time as hoards of enemies and bullets swamp the game screen. It was almost like playing good ol' NES and SNES games all over again!
Lik: Indeed. However it still works pretty well on the 3GS. I am currently at Rev 3 wave 40 on both planet and I get swarmed all the time, still the framerate is decent most of the time.

It's funny how the game almost grinds to a halt when I'm getting swamped by the monsters while I try to fend them off with my Blood Geyser. But OMG, I LOVE this bad boy sooooooo much.
Can't imagine what the WTF7000 would do, with its 7-way spraying action going at full tilt~!
Those big guns are hurting mobility too much. Even with just my new armour, I am already walking a lot slower than before la. Can't really afford to slow down much more...
Unless you are spending real money to get armor, try maximizing your speed by wear something that gives you speed. One thing I noticed in this game is that your best defense is indeed your offense. You can eliminate most enemies before they can get close if your attack is high enough.
I got quite a few gamecenter invitations since I started this thread. Don't forget to post your comments and tips as you are making progress in the game. On the other hand try to fight with as many different bro u hav in ur list to win different daily rewards
I just got the bad ass Atlas RPG and it kicks big butts; it really helps me blasting my way out when I get swarmed by stronger enemies. Of course the best approach is to pick them off as far as possible.
I am currently at lvl 50 wielding an ion assault rifle and the atlas. Just finished rev 3 on Havan and trying to complete rev 3 on the first planet.
