    charliewindson may be right ... as the MOX Fuel burned @ Fukushima reactor is 200 times more toxic - according to Nuke Engineer  @

Just do your best and prepared - just the Karma operates by itself - like the Chinese proverb - 一切都是命定 ...

indeed it is.

Level 7 = Chernobyl scale but the japs ain't gonna tell you its going to blow until its ready to blow. in the meantime at level 7 its still safe here.

i've noticed more japanese passerby in recent weeks, though it puzzles me as to why it is these very few have chosen to come here whereas they could have gone to Vancouver instead, since i rekon japs speak english a trillion times better than a certain former  colonists of great Britannia

all governments lie, but it is often done for the greater good of the masses in modern times. least people will not be consumed by their own misery and grief till the inevitable arrives.

nothing's failsafe/bullet-proof in this world, nothing's ever been so.
men challenged god to sink their so called unsinkable ship, and the greatest architects will tell you high rises are not capable of falling even when their core structure integrity is compromised, then men stared in awe and disbelief at reality that is their utter failure..and proceed to improve their craftsmanship and onto making the same mistake again and again.

lots of people seemed surprised that a modern plant with so much safety and redundancies can reach such catastrophic levels of damage on the very verge of meltdown.  plate tectonic dictates hong kong being prone to magnitude 4> quakes, however no buildings in hong kong have ever been built to withstand any magnitude of quakes of any kind; no buildings built ever took earthquake into account so even at magnitude 5 i'm certain there'd be buildings collapsing left and right.

http://blogs.wsj.com/hong-kong/2 ... hreat-to-hong-kong/

it took exactly 2 days for the trace level radiation winds to reach hong kong;
as i said it would.

i guarantee anything at magnitude 6< and hong kong will wiped off the face of the earth, and there'd be no point in any rescue effort. get ready to see a flood of hkers back in richmond and a new era of "left and right" mainlander hate will reign once more.

i don't need to go to mars, i live in nelsons afterall. if it does go off, i can't say i'm gonna feel sorry for all the 90s dumb kids who doesn't have a ticket within an hour of media reported meltdown. they're gonna be sorry for moving back here for the crappy city life because they simply got bored in canada. as i said before, Chernobyl is nothing compared the output of a single fukashima plant alone, and the japs aren't even going to tell us if the other one ( was it no.2 or 5?) is stable or not, if 2 of 'em pop, like i said, any poor unlucky bastards who didn't get out of hk will have zero chances of survival even if they reach mainland. well for me, i aint got nothing to worry about now for obvious reasons. glad the japs were willing to lose face and admit the gravity of the situation than raising the red flag at the very last minute, at least now their population are definitely less hesitant about leaving their home and being stigmatized by the media and public minority.
