唔食魚翅有乜好食呀？其實仲有大把嘢好食！原只鮑魚燉竹絲雞位上啦，夠排場嘞掛！Actually most shark's fin served at wedding banquet is just the cheap ones, many other soup could be better and more deluxe. The problem is, new couples need to have gut to "against" so called Chinese tradition la.

Soup Cooking Contest for Fall 2011
Many of you have asked us what kinds of alternatives there are for shark fin soup -- we are pleased to announce that this fall, we will begin a new tradition to help answer that question. On May 7, Vancouver Foundation awarded Shark Truth with a grant from Generation Green for $12, 500, which will be used to create our next project - a soup cooking contest! It's going to be an Iron-chef style showdown where chefs showcase their creativity and talent by creating shark-fin alternatives. Their dishes will help usher in a new wave of shark-free soups banquets for weddings, baby showers and anniversaries.

This is what I like to see! But the cruel reality is, guests mainly want to eat (at chinese wedding banquet), and eat.......... @_@;;
