shutterbug: the time i got pulled over i did have a cat on, one of the reason he pulled me over was my bpipe and spoon axle back exhaust, he said there isnt enuff bends in my exhaust system?? i forgot if it was 4 or 5 bends?? yaaa but obviously i do haf it...and i dont want to argue with the him and piss him off...so ya im like whteva...cuz i didnt expect it bein such a pain to go to get my car checked...

until he assigned me specifically to go to the dealer to get it checked! sh!t man the dealer was wht pissed me off...i went to rmd acura they told me they are in the process of changing the system of VI where its all done online and taken by pictures....and they cannot do it the old way by checking the report sheet and sending it to ICBC.... i then called  all the acuras in the whole lower mainland and same result ended up saying they are in the middle of switching the system, thats when i went back to negioate with alan and how much more unlucky can i get when he called the richmond acura guys they said YES they'll do it and haf the system up and running when really the guy alan was speaking to was a receptionist (not parts and service department) and that just came back from 3 weeks holidays...and then he started thinkin im BS-ing him and lying....

where i ended up getting my VI done was NORTHSHORE acura in north van....and at that time lthey did it by paper not photos...they didnt know about the switch to online system until i just done when theyre manager came back and check their cert showings its expired...but luckily they dont do much VI and said they pretend dont know and still submit the report.... but either way i haf the repot in my hand so i can still renew my insurance...

thats wht i thought too thats why i haf my cat still there,,,,but the cop said something about hafing this many bends so it reduces emission or pollution or sumthing i forgot.....but i took as bs cuz i did haf bends in my exhaust system...but ya i didnt wanna argue with him cuz im sure if he wants to bs some reason to give me the ticket he will find his way....

HID he actually said it was fine, it wasny crasily blue or bright so he had no issue with that. only me not hafing amble cornors (which i change to now) and my car being lower than 55 cm from the ground (measurin from the dot of the head lights) which now is above 55cm...but ya....gay cop i must say

hee... b/c the law says so.  Technically, any aftermarket exhaust is illegal.  That is sad...

Btw, I haven't got ticket or VI and I go to richmond everyday with my lightly-modified car.  So I guess it all depends on luck

haven't got any VI since 01 i think, have been driving it to RMD with my catless Spoon N1 exhaust to polute RMD's air; tinted windows, HID, coilovers, R compounds, they can pretty much pick anything they want
