Michelin actually didn't update their Red Book (THE Hotel & Restaurant Guide) since 2009 for Vegas area due to bad economy. I am sure many have folded since. I know for one, there are only 3 2 stars in Vegas and one have folded. It's called Alex, and it's located at Wynn. It's the only 2 stars I've went to on our last Vegas visit (2008). Have had the best Wagyu I have tasted ever there. Literrally melts in your mouth!

The other 2 Michelin rated restaurant I've been to are Mix (1 star), located at the top of Mandalay Bay and Michale Minas (1 star) at Bellagio.

Mix have an interesting modern decor, with a very large bubble hanging light as center piece. I was having a headache that day and the very yellow lighting in there did not help. You can also sit at the Balcony, giving you a view to Luxor and other hotels. Food is okay for a 1 star. I'd think it's a better spot to have a pricey cocktail than to have a full dinner which will cost a few hundred...

Michael Mina is a more traditional restaurant. It doesn't feel very grand, but it's very warm and cozy. I recall that a relatively old server was serving us and he was very very nice. Not too much expensive ingredients was used, but the dishes were definately cooked very delicately.

That said, those are the ones that I have went. I don't know if they are the better ones or actually the inferior ones. Doing your own research is definately advised. Have fun~
