Compliment from competitor, amazing!

Haha.  I only stated what is true.  I am not going to bash my competitor if they have good food.

Wow I didn't expect there are quite a number of replies! I usually just read, don't usually post.

Yes I know sometimes people think posting are just owner selling. Especially sometimes I try some restaurant I know it is really bad but still people say it's really good, then I suspect.

But I don't know how to write to make it more objective. May be I should never put name (I actually didn't pay attention to the name). May be I should take away the cost also. If people also think it is good, then more people will add in more comments. If there is an online 蔡瀾 (can't type Chinese, have to look it up) who we trusted and can verify all the places for us, it would be great My taste could be subjective too, and I love eating Chicken in general. That's okay, if somebody tried and likes it I would be happy.

Oh Sorry I forget to mention I smell curry because somebody order curry that day so I smell it, not because they make a big pot so I smell it.

I remember Loyaukee used to have 2 links that have a big list of restaurant inside and some comments inside. Does anyone know if they are still around? Sometimes when I run out of idea, will go to take a look.

I only tried a few Singapore Restaurant in Richmond Patermoon, KimLoon and Coconut House, also there is a small one on Broadway (long time ago, not sure if still exist, they have no bone Sun Chicken). If anyone have any recommendation, please let me know. Thanks!

Not that I am a homesick Singaporian but I had a chance to work there for a few weeks and tried some authentic Singapore food. Actually it tastes good but they put tons of MSG there (to be fair, I go to the cheap food court style one, not expensive restaurant)

Haha.  applekiwi, if you like Malaysia/Singapore food, you should come down to Richmond Public Market.  Our cook is as authentic as he can be because he is from Penang and he owns several restaurants in Penang too.

We do not put MSG into our food because I ate it all the time and I do not like MSG.

if you want to write a good food review...you should do it similar to what AC did in the old LYK la...he wrote lots of food reviews!  with pictures and illustrations, star ratings, etc...I enjoyed reading those and really hope that someone could import them over...

sometimes it's not people who are sensitive, it's the board being abused too many times before, newbies come sell then gone....well, I guess it's better now than before since the traffic here is not as much???

"Lung Wah"'s roast pig is really good.

also i like "bak yok lan"'s Shanghai dumplings

"pak lai bo" is always a solid choice.

Paradise Juice is the best place for fruit smoothies...they use lots of fruit not ice and milk.
