Normally for cleaning, exam check up they don't raise price. but for some major work, such as making crowns or dentures, they may raise the price based on the fee guide. eg. if fee guide is let say $300 and they might raise 10% of the fee guide amount. Most clinics won't raise the price bcoz is already expensive enough.

ya, there's a fee guide in every province, but dentists are not obligated to follow it.  [why not make more $ when u can?]
