I have a entertainment bundle call "Basic Fairchild Talent High-Speed Internet" for $65.95, after tax it came to $71.42.

I have Basic Cable up to ch28 + fairchild + city + some other digital ch and Internet.

But 2 yrs ago this package only cost $57.95 and after tax it's about $63. Shaw have been increasing their price twice in the past 2 yrs.

ai.......i'm thinking about the full cable farichild - Tier 1 and 2 and 3, channel 2 to 58(but no internet)

Hi everyone,

I found out my shaw cable is too much expensive. I have internet and chinese tv. Before I think around $60. last month I discover that it increase to more than $80. (Usually I paid pre authorized, so I didn't aware they increase a lot. )

Then I call customer service why the bill is so high and then they are so mean and said because of the old increase. I said why oil increase influence shaw cable? They explained they have to pay extra money for the technical support to maintained my service. I said I don't need any technical supporty. And then they said they can't do anything.


Then I call account department. I told them I want to cut the service. They asked me why. I said it is too much for me now. I have no money to continue the service.

YOu know what they offered me a 9 months old cut I forgot how much , but now I only paid around $60 per month . Then I go back to 2 year's price. So do call them and pretend you want to cut their service and they will cut your price.

Same case for my family too. The price just suddenly increased in our bill. I guess I should give them a call.

I heard Bell is even worst, they always bill you incorectly and take long long time and phone calls to correct. I have 3 TVs, so I am stuck with Shaw. Besides, all the receiver I invested....

I used to have 60 channels with shaw but since they raise the price, I changed to the basic with only 30 channels. I told them because they raise the price too often, I'm downgrading as a protest.
