I think it would be wrong to equate Goddy with Lancer, as the result would be much quieter and more uneventful than you would imagine.

If you take a song or just any music and take out the fortissimo and pianissimo you end up with ****ty pop-songs like we have today: soft, and easily disgusted by morons.

小弟唔係完全同意law. soft d 即係溫文d, 係有禮貌既表現~
溫文既人唔代表佢地講既野係 meaningless and lifeless, 只要有point就有意思啦.

講野要有抑揚頓挫, 唱歌都要有唔同既音調, 小弟非常贊同.
但係講粗口都要講環境, 如果o係一個唔比講粗口既地方去講粗口, 呢個擺到明係一個挑戰. 就等如o係一個養狗既朋友既屋企食狗肉咁, 好唔尊重人既.

(小弟之前都因為同Lancer兄鬥講粗口而比admin ban左, 小弟知錯了, 錯而能改, 事莫大焉呢~)

In my opinion politeness is a protocol for disguise, and anyone can be polite while doing terrible things. (We are all clothed animals after all.) What I advocate is the moderate use of swear words instead of the "selective-zero-tolerance" policy lyk have. Can't be extremely polite or rude, somewhere in between would be nice.

Like you said, as long as there is a friggin point, but more importantly is how or whether people will find you message interest-or even worthy-for them spend time to digest.

While your analogy is correct, I don't think it is wise to think this forum and everywhere else in this world is your home, as soon as you interact with other people "outside" there is a good chance you will get challenged. If I respect you as human being, I would pray (to myself) that you are strong enough to withstand a little bit of challenge now and then.

If you guys are really that sheltered and rather not eats dog s.hit now and than, that is your choice. I for one eat dogs.hit for breakfast and s.hits out GOLD. - figuratively speaking of course.
