I used Canada Post to send mail to my wife in Malaysia before and the whole package just got lost. They did not even know where it went. This actually happened twice.
UPS and Purolator have both delivered wrong packages, majority of shipping/receiving is done through UPS at my workplace. UPS has been very quick for us, we almost always receive packages marked "extremely urgent" though. We also use a local carrier "ATS" once a week, not close to meeting the satisfactory mark.
Well, if a courier screw, then it screw. Never able to gurantee.
Depends on you want to ship through canada or International.
For international, such as Asia, I always choose UPS.
For Domestic, I always choose Purolator for payroll.
For important document, I choose fedex.
Never DHL, it always screw........
I think it somehow depends on your area too. When our office still in Vancouver, UPS used to be very reliable. After we move our office to Surrey, UPS sucks..........screw few times. So I use Purolator very often.. because it only screw once in one year. so that's acceptable.
I use City Core for local delivery. It's a Chinese company which are super quick and reliable.
If I have something urgent that need to be send within Vancouver, I just skip the representative and said I want to talk to "nelson" as I always request abnormal request. They always make it, never fail me. Personal preference? I think Chinese are smarter? I heard from the driver that the whole company are chinese, even the call center are CBC wor.
And it's very cheap in Vancouver area... well not in surrey but I still call them everyday.
