Batty-Crease by django.malone.
In Sanya, Hainan, China, October 4 2007
...Hoping to increase traffic to my photostream with some sleazy shots here...Yes I am a creep. But if you've checked the tags and seen that this shot is taken with a Canon S5 IS, then you probably already know that haha.
UPDATE - this photo has more than tripled my maximum record for the number of people viewing my photos in a single day. I wish I had more like this.
maanmo says .. above are 2 genuine canon powershot s3 is girls..

Ice-Cream by django.malone.
Some students from the school I was teaching at, we went out for ice-cream before the summer vacation started.
I should have used the flash for this one I think to myself one and a half years after the fact...I'm an awesome photographer.
maanmo says, now its a panasonic treat

Paralympics by django.malone.
That's me with the 2008 UK Paralympic table tennis team. I didn't take this picture myself (obviously). BTW this is what I get when I use Bibble to process my pictures, I can't seem to make them look the way I like them to. This is the only one processed entirely in Bibble that I've ever posted on Flickr. Bibble sucks.
maanmo says now back to canon girls
路边的野花。。。 by django.malone.
This girl apparently hasn't heard the song but if she listened to Teresa Teng she would know...你不要采!
So everybody, take a good look, this is what happens to you when you don't listen to Teresa Teng...you end up the only person in all of China who doesn't have a pair of shoes!

maanmo says... nikon girl

China FTW by django.malone.
Probably my favourite of all of China's T-shirts.
I took this one with a Canon IXUS 860 IS at ISO 1600. I'll process it again some day with Noiseware Pro, I hadn't bought it when I processed this shot. I have the RAW file since I was running CHDK on the camera, I love this shirt, hope to make a better version of this shot some day.

maanmo says.. canon flies

Cracking Up by django.malone.
Now that I have some time off I can get some more RAW files processed. These are all from my second trip to Basuo and the B&W is done in Capture NX, it's just the "monochrome" picture control.
These kids are excellent models, they never get tired of taking pictures, all they ask is to look at it on the LCD every once in a while and laugh their asses off and call each other names.

Used Nikon N80 I bought on Ebay. I've only taken one picture so far. You mean I have to shoot 24 frames before I can even see one? Sheesh.
It's super cool though, and tiny in size. Check out the pictures of it next to my D90. This N80 is smaller than a D40/D40x/D60! And it feels like a better camera in the hand, works with any lens, and has features the lower end digital SLRs don't.
I paid 100 Canadian dollars for it. It seems to be in perfect shape. I had no idea when I ordered it that it would be so small, so it's just a bonus.
I already had the 50mm lens. I'm thinking about buying a 28mm f2.8 now also.
I'll post pictures as soon as I finish the first roll of film.
I took this picture with my D90 and the built in flash as well as the SB-600, which was located to my right and fired at a 45 degree angle towards the camera (towards the N80, not the D90 haha, confusing).
Speaking of the SB-600, apparently it will work on this N80 in TTL auto mode, which is awesome!
BTW I had the D90 set to auto everything and it selected ISO 1250, and boy does it not even look like a high ISO shot. This is a JPEG straight from the camera. I love my D90. I often hear people saying film is superior to digital, but I doubt that any film can beat the D90 at high ISO values. We'll see, now I have a way to compare.
