A lot of players can score 30+ pts if they play enough minutes, but they still lose games. The New York fans hate Melo because he is overrated as a max paid player and also a loser.

believe it or not.
if you think he is overrated, you better look at joe johnson or rashard lewis. these are overrated.
looking at the 3 big contracts of NYK, Amare's one is the worst right now. Lousy Defense both mentally and phyically, and he avoids post up game after the injury and settle for long jumper...and not getting rebound and not attacking the rim...that's more likely need to review his contract... more then Melo's.

Melo is MVP quality? Are you kidding?
MVP is usually awarded to the best player of the top winning teams, but the Knicks are just clinging onto the playoffs.
Melo was 8-15 before Linsanity. Without Lin, Melo would have just given up and tanked the season.
