learned something new.
This how it looks like without flash. Can you believe it, I was annoyed with the flash, ~ then when I saw the result I forgive to it
let s look at some of the photos the master took before DSLR
Olympus / C55 Zoom Also known as C5500 Zoom

I was walking to my dragonboat practice when I noticed this half red and half yellow tulip. Since I never saw such thing after practice I went home took my camera and went back to photograph this unique flower. There is just only one like this amongst hundred of tulips

it was on sale!!!!

Olympus SLR E-410 digital camera with two lenses.
I could not resist. I am 79 yrs old this year so I decided I will not wait any longer. Unfortunately the old Olympus OM lenses can not be used on digital cameras.
The two lenses are equivalent to the old OM lenses as 28-80 and 80-300m/m.
I am c harging tghe battery now and will try it soon.
maanmo says... right... i hope people will give me a dozen DSLR cameras, for my retirement
which is currently set to start when i am 120 years old

In 1961 after graduating from UBC I went from Vancouver to Victoria on a Canada Pacific (CP) ferry. The ferry leaved Vancouver from the CP Waterfront station.
As usual I could not resist sleeping people. The unusual is that I found this print in a box.
I was wondering how many of then are still alive?

old UBC library building on a foggy day (1958)

Fifty years ago I was a forestry student at University of British Columbia, (Vancouver). I was fascinated with the foggy days, so I photographed. I lived in the residences on thecampus.

end of the moon eclipse

Could not resist here is an another view from my balcony. The lights are coming on in North Vancouver. The two peaks are the Lions.
From Wikipedia: The Lions, a pair of pointed peaks (West Lion - 1,646 m, East Lion - 1,599 m), are probably the most visually striking and distinctive formation among all the North Shore Mountains.
maanmo says... maanmo is also a Lions shooter from his home
in fact , maanmo uses the Lions pics to form his avator..
hail the Lions. maanmo pray to heaven everyday, when he look out of the window
