I can admit that my wrong use of unit--- km. But compare to your wrong mind of flying helicopters, dripping water drops .... etc, mine is totally nothing la.

Well, come to think of it, I suppose you really have no idea what the value of life is. If the rescuers were not ready and willing to sacrifice themselves to save even just one life, they wouldn't be there at ground zero in the first place. If doctors and nurses were not ready to put their lives at risk, no medical staff in HK would have been willing to treat SARS in the 02/03 era.

I believe all human lives should value the same. According to your words, you think victim's life worth more than the rescuers'? I don't see why rescuers should "replace" their lives to a victim's life?! If 10 millions rescuers are going to save 10 millions victims but have to sacrifice their own lives, why need to go? Why not just simply keep the original 10 millions rescuers' lives alive at their cozy home instead? Cuz there would be 10 millions lives alive eventually anyways!

我覺得係你要思考多一陣law.
係人都知災民要藥, 要水, 又要糧.
成個城既建築物都倒塌, 要好多人先可以挖掘架. 亂咁掘既話, 明明唔駛死都比你整死. 救人都要organize既.
你試下去好多人既地方, 拎住一袋錢去通街派, 睇下你有乜野下場啦. 分水唔係咁易分, 都係要organize既.
為左救自己既親人, d 人一定都拼埋條命去同你搶哂你d 野, 因為佢地覺得搶到既話就有機會救番自己既親人. 所以派野都係organize既.

最後, organize係要時間既.

I do not doubt that they know much more than I do, but the fact remains that they are humans just like everyone of us, and China has not faced an earthquake disaster of this magnitude since the Tong Shan earthquake when the country was still in stone age. When you look at it, this is really their first time handling this type of situation for real!

I am certain they have thought of a thousand, a million things that would never even have crossed my mind. But if you look back at the 20-something pages we have, the one thing that I keep stressing is their delayed response in deploying helicopters. Could this not have been one thing that they overlooked? 你知道百密一疏是甚麼？ If they didn't think it was effective, why was this line of rescue operations added on day 3 / 4?

你覺得一定要經歷過地震成識應付地震? 唐山大地震? 大佬力, 中國政府既專家係可以上網搵資料, 冇錯, 佢地可能係第一次handle this type of situation, 敢問聲閣下又handle過幾多次8級地震? 兩次? 十次? 我睇唔出你有乜野地方會比中國政府既專家優勝. (唔係共產黨係唔係一個優勝呢? 有人可能覺得共產黨既人可能豬d woh.)

不如同長江七號去救人丫? 你有冇諗過你咁高b都知道有直昇機, 中國政府既專家又點會諗唔到呢? 你有冇諗過人地係有原因所以唔用直昇機呢? 百密一疏都唔係疏呢樣卦. 唔用直昇機總有原因, 我諗當局而家唔得閒同你解釋law.
