    I don't agree AC has a lot of delay nor lost baggage wor.  They are quite on time.  And you have to understand sometimes flight delay are due to weather condition, and many other issues, which are uncontrollable.    Also , sometimes if there is a small warning light that came on before departure, some smaller airlines might not take the extra time to figure it the problem out, that's why we always see those air accidents on MayDay.  It does takes time for maintenance personnel to fix the problem, and for the pilots to look up their manual to make sure that the plane is safe to fly with that particular issue.  Its better to be safe than sorry.

Anyway, I personally think Air China, and China Eastern are not that bad.  The food are not the best, but seriously you don't expect to have a feast on a flight right?  At least its an airline that I would take.  The only Airline I wouldn't risk my life is China Airlines.

Well...the biggest problem with Air Canada is....the service lor...For international flight...the flight attendant certainly give you an attitude...

i took a 3hrs flight from hk by china eastern and i promised myself i won't take china eastern.
the washroom was smell, and the staffs were rude. i rather to pay a little more and won't risk myself for a 13hrs flight
delay is one of the horrible problem with chinese airlines.  watched the show 锵锵三人行100820（飞机延误晚点与乘客纠纷）, they mentioned the govn't is enforcing some punishments now, so hope they will improve.

I took Air China before, it was ok. But China Eastern, I heard of delays and rude flight attendant services. With few hundred bucks less, just don't expect you have equal service as CX/AC.

Air Canada if you can fly in Sept or Nov/10, I think they change the schudle back to afternoon in fall check with your agent
