I actually am not sure what to do if they are to take away my lense lor
it's a good few hundreds of dollars. What if I don't get my things back? who's going to be responsible wor....

and I don't understand why they didn't let people bring in dslr while people could take pic and record video from their compact camera/cell phone

I posted a message on their facebook page (frontline ticket) and tell them some people (actually my brother 5DMII was taken away too) DSLR were took away and I included a link to this post. The next day I checked the FB page, my comment was gone....

My brother used 24 - 105L only, not even a long zoom lens.
Yes, they checked his bag....

If long zoom is not allowed, how can people take photos using a wide angle DSLR, this is just stupid, DSLR don't have optical or digital zoom.......

It is more cheap and have more freedom watching shows in Hong Kong.

cuz I learned my lesson last time from lam fung's concert. I brought my camera backpack and was so scared that when they said they were to check bags. I just somehow managed to sneak my bag in. This time I just brought a normal side bag with me and just slipped right through when the guy usy was checking some guys' bag.

my brother put his camera in a plain side bag, they check the bag, and he hide the long lens with him. they only check bag but no body check.

we sat on row 10. at section 111. in the front row, there were lots of ppl video recording as well and the floor caucasian staff just sat on the chair to watch the show.

yes I had my long lens in its little pouch so it didn't look like I am carrying a camera equipment
