Even though I am in BC, I am very worried for family members and friends who are living in Hong Kong, China, Japan, Taiwan and Malaysia and Singapore.

I do panic for their situation.
I found people that I know in Japan are safe from the quake. However, the radiation is at the door step. I do not know whether they have any plan to move out or what will be coming to them.

Still, situation is not as bad even living in Tokyo.

Future is still uncertain, yes, but it's getting more clear... , at least, not worsening...

How do you know it is not worsening? What I heard is that it is getting worse (I hope it is an outdated news).

If Tokyo needs to be evacuated, where will the people go? Japan is a small country, there is not enough room for manoeuver.

Even the nuclear experts are not totally in agreement.  some of them are "half empty", some of them are "half full".

I wouldn't panic cos I'm here in BC.  but if I were in Tokyo, I'll be kicking myself right now for not fleeing to Kansai over the weekend.

If the current nuclear plant is happening 240km from where I live (like from here to Seattle), I'll be long gone.  You can choose to stay ...

If the situation is not worsening and they give me a 50% discount on Tokyo housing, I will...
