Democracy is about winning and buying votes, but if a couple of free meals and free tours are enough to buy it, then it just shows how cheap the voters are. More importantly, it also shows how incredibly stupid they are because they fail to realize that even if the Pro-Establishment camp is voted out, Grandfather is only going to pump even bigger amounts of funding to promote and prop up the Pro-Establishment camp. That means voters will get even more freebies when the Pro-Establishment camp is voted out.

The old farts are from the Mainland, and a lot of them make up the hardcore supporters of DAB. But the post-80 and 90 kids have quite a strong sense of local identity, and far fewer of them support the Pro-Establishment camp. It'll be interesting to see how things are 5 - 10 years down the road when these kids start coming of age.

其實泛民的票沒比上年少，反之市面氣氛冷淡，卻有前所未有多的新選票全投阿爺，可知阿爺早有預謀地為超級區議員鋪路，看到阿爺這麼厲害，成立只半年的人民力量不得不承認是小學雞，但有機會看到阿爺的本事是好事，可為未來的路作好準備
