I actually prefer speed & volume over quality.  I am thinking of making one or two mugs before work quickly with no clean up needed.

After contemplating for months, capsule vs. drip

I am using this as my daily driver:
http://www.hamiltonbeach.ca/hb_d ... mp;fc=&catID=89

It doesn't need paper filter, and the brew time is about 5 min per 16oz mug. I think it is cheaper and better than any capsule brewer. There are 2 settings (bold & reg) and the pressure is good.

I am a coffee geek, and would prefer my expresso machine or siphon coffee maker. still, for quick fix, the Hamilton does the job.

My daily use is an Ikea's stove top espresso marker.  It makes exactly what I need (I'm the only coffee drinker in the house) and very easy clean up - no filter.

The only downside compare to single serving machine is that you have to wait 5 minutes instead of 30 seconds.

The nescafe one is cheap .. I bought one .. after few cup .. never used it la..  not much diff to instant coffee ... so ..

I mean Nespresso machine ..  hehe ....

Some coffee machine could be $2-3k ... but not better then the $2-300 nespresso .. since I don't drink any wine at all, I am very willing to spend on coffee machine .. bean ..etc ...  ^_^

Start your coffee arsenal with a good grinder first then coffee machine.

You can't have good coffee without good beans and the right grind!

I use a stove top moka too.
My hubbie prefers french press. I think both don't take too much time to make or clean up.
If I am really on a rush, I will drink free yucky coffee in the office.
