係啦! 人地set 得呢個level, 就一定係有人可以做到, 仲要係大部分啦!
確實, 名校出黎, 就算唔係最top 個堆, 連低個堆, 真係好過好多其他學校好top 個D架啵....  
我都好好彩, 我可以survive 得到, 乜唔係應該架咩~ 如果個個都得, 駛咩有人考第一, 有人考第尾呢? 如果唔係咁, D人駛鬼排晒隊爭住入名校呢.....
呢個世界, 梗係有人讀到書, 有人讀唔到架啦! 我知我咁講好刻薄, 但, 個個都做大醫生大律師, 邊個會去倒垃圾, 掃街, 洗盤碗呀~ 呢個係一個現實, 只係D人面對唔到, 唔肯面對咋嘛..... 依家D人太寶貝自己D仔女喇~ 幾歲都要幫佢著衫著鞋... 中學畢業都要阿媽老豆陪睇派位, 大學畢業都要老豆阿媽陪見工.... 咁呢D係學校問題, 定家長問題呢? 成日話唔會迫個仔學乜學物, 究竟係真係錫住個仔吖, 定掛住做野唔得閒或者唔想俾(無咁多閒錢俾)個仔去學呢..... 去學琴, 學跳舞, 學課外活動, 補習點都好過怕個仔嘈怕佢唔聽話, 就買遊戲機, 買ipad 俾佢等佢唔好騷擾你煩住你吖~

yeah! I don't understand either. Don't think there was much pressure from the school. I was pretty happy and stressfree with school work back then.
I missed school during summer holidays back then.

Developing genuine interest, independent thinking and inter-personal skills outweighs every other advantage which a academics heavy school can ever provide. This is especially true the younger one is.

And the one about memorization, maybe for people in the arts program, etc. Memorization is one of the less important skills over my academic career. This is especially true for the technological driven world of today. Understanding why, arriving at the conclusion independently, and able to find aid to arrive at the optimal answer is the right way to go. Unless you can't even remember where you have put the Safari app icon on your phone, then memorization probably starts to be a factor at that point. LOL.
